MY STORY BEHIND THE STORY
After several collaborations, AJ Troup was gracious enough to give me another opportunity to direct an original script he wrote for “Mixed Boy”. AJ really challenged both of us to step up our game for this personal and at times even self-critical scene study. He wanted to make this feel more cinematic than the comedic pieces we had made in the past. I really credit AJ with the quality of this film and his influence is all over it, from his writing and acting, to his own featured music.
